Our story

On 17 February 2009, one of Em’s teammates walked across the dance floor of an Athenian golf club at the final night party of the World Schools’ Debating Championships to tell Ben that Em fancied him. The rest is history…or something.

Ben remembers that Em was wearing a red, one-shoulder dress. Em still has the dress, and it is pink and has two shoulders. So obviously, it would be impossible to resolve this argument (not pictured: Emily in the pink dress, with two shoulders).

Just seven short years later, they met up in New York, realised they were madly in love and had to be together, cried a bit in The Spotted Pig (a really good gastropub in Greenwich) and resolved to be together forever.

So, now, just 10 years after their first kiss, they figured it was finally time to tie the knot.
